Speakers can upload pre-recorded videos and PDF presentations to their session on the PINE platform. All this can be done through the Speaker Hub, please check our manual here.

Pre-recorded videos are played instead of the live streams. These videos can be uploaded by the speaker in the Speaker Hub, but such a video can be turned on by the moderator only. In case a speaker has a pre-recorded video it is important to warn the organizers about it.

Please note that sharing the screen or a PDF presentation is done by the speaker and possible during the live stream only.

To start sharing the screen, a speaker needs to click on the “Share options” button and choose if you want to share your screen or a PDF presentation.

Please note that if you want to show a video through sharing your screen, there will be only the video signal with no sound.

In case the speaker needs to share a video with the sound, it can be done by means of software for streaming (OBS, Streamyard, Vmix, etc.). You will need to switch from the Browser streaming option to RTMP, there you can get URL and Key for your RTMP stream.

Do not forget to click on the button “Continue” when you are ready for the stream.
