Users may experience issues while trying to log in on the PINE platform. The issue itself is expressed in the following: when you enter a password, you are constantly returned to the sign-in page.

This problem appears when you are trying to sign in to the platform from the Google Chrome Incognito mode or other web browsers that are NOT Google Chrome.

Our platform is most compatible with Google Chrome (not in Incognito mode). So, that is why we recommend that you choose this web browser for the comfortable use of the PINE tool.

Otherwise, the problem with signing in to the platform is caused due to the reason that you have 3rd party cookies blocked on your browser. Please note that in Safari and Google Chrome Incognito mode all 3rd party cookies are blocked by default.

Below we will explain how you can enable 3rd party cookies in your browser.

Google Chrome (incognito mode)

There are 2 possible solutions to this problem.

  1. You can click on the eye icon on the right side of the web address bar. Then press on the link “Site not working?” and click on the blue button “Allow cookies”.

  2. You can go to the Settings of Google Chrome -> Privacy and Security - > open the section Cookies and other site data.

By default, there is selected “Block third-party cookies in Incognito”. So, you need to switch it to “Allow all cookies” to enter the platform via incognito mode.

Mozilla Firefox

To enable 3rd party cookies on our website you need to open the PINE platform and click on the shield sign on the left side of the web address bar. There you need to remove a tick in front of the section “Enhanced Tracking protection is ON for this site”.

Microsoft Edge

To enable 3rd party cookies in the Microsoft Edge please go to the Settings -> Cookies and site permissions -> Cookies and site data. Please make sure that you have put a tick in front of the section “Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)”.

Safari

In order to check if 3rd party cookies are allowed in Safari please open the Preferences page and click on the Privacy tab in the top panel.

Then make sure that there is no tick in front of “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”.

We do not recommend using Safari or Brave web browsers while attending or organizing events on our platform.
