Using the private meetings feature, PINE is tailored to enhance networking effectiveness during events by streamlining the discovery and development of new connections among attendees.

In this article, you will find out how to:

Request a meeting

Click on the attendee’s profile and press the “Request meeting” button. Then, choose an available time slot, provide a reason, and send it.

For Hybrid events, you will need to additionally choose a meeting type and place:

  • PINE connect - is chosen by default, and allows to connect virtually.

  • Auto reservation - automatically assigns the first available meeting place.

  • You can also add your own location (e.g. a cafe across the street).

After confirmation, you can add it to your Google Calendar to ensure you do not miss it.

In the "My Meetings" section, schedule meetings by selecting a time slot and the person you wish to meet. The "Quick Stats" bar will display statistics related to your meetings.

Start a meeting

Once your meeting request is confirmed, open the "My Meetings" section at the scheduled time, select the meeting, and click "Start Meeting".

Cancel or reschedule a meeting

Open the "My Meetings" section, click three dots in front of the meeting, and choose the desired option.

By choosing "Cancel", provide a reason for confirmation.

If you go for Rescheduling, pick a new time slot (for hybrid events, also specify the type and place).

Add more people to the meeting

NOTE: There can be a maximum of 9 people in a meeting simultaneously, and this feature is available on a desktop version only.

To add more people, start the meeting and click the icon of a person with a plus sign. Select an attendee and click "Invite." You can invite new members before or after the meeting starts, and they will receive a notification in the chat section.

Adjust personal schedule

Lock time slots in your schedule to block meeting requests.

Go to "My meetings," click the three dots in the upper right corner, and open the availability window. Lock specific slots with the lock sign or click "lock all."
