PINE Public chats could be moderated by event organizers or session moderators.

Сhat moderation includes the following actions:

You can pin some important messages and announcements in the chat, which should not get lost in the stream of other less important messages.

To pin a message (only 1 can be pinned), just hover the mouse pointer over the message and then click on the pin icon.

The background of the pinned message will turn yellow, and the pinned text will appear above the chat.

To unpin this message, just click on the cross, which is located in the upper right corner of the chat, or on the same pin button.

Quite often, moderators can create various polls to track the activity and interest of participants, or simply collect and receive feedback.

To do it, switch to the Polls tab in the Chat sidebar and add a poll. You can learn more about polls here.

To delete a message, you should hover the mouse pointer over the message and click on the delete button.

You can use this function to attract the attention of a specific person or respond in this way to his message.

To mention someone, you should hover the mouse pointer over the message you need and then click on the corresponding icon.
